July 26, 2022Atlanta-based Blue River Development gives back to charity both locally and internationally. The developer recently made monetary donations and in-kind gifts to Each One Help One, a nonprofit Bahamas food bank, and Forsyth County foster programs. These latest contributions are a part of the developer’s commitment to giving back to the areas it serves, as well as contributing to global charity efforts.
“We think it is important to celebrate our success by contributing to both local and international causes,” Managing Principal Brad Cooper said. “Blue River Development will continue to help in the most impactful ways we can based on the needs of the groups we are involved with.”
Based in Nassau, Bahamas, Each One Help One is a nonprofit organization focused on providing nutritious hot meals and other services to those in need throughout the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. In addition to monetary donations, Blue River Development donated 100 basketballs and contributed to food boxes with water, bread and other essentials.
According to a letter from Each One Help One Founder and Director Shannador Luger Andrews, the generous donations from Blue River Development help the nonprofit give youth and young-at-heart a fun, wholesome activity to occupy their time.
The development firm also recently made local contributions to Forsyth County foster programs including monetary donations, as well as 70 Easter baskets to foster children ranging from 2-months-old to 20-years-old.
